November Newsletter
Thank-you:
A big thank you goes out to each of you for your compassion, understanding and prayers as I’ve been going through a difficult time with Papa being sick. We still do not know anything at all. They have run tons of tests and they show nothing other than high white count and low sodium and yet he is very sick although occasionally has a day or two of good days which are days he feels good, just still can not get up and around to do much or will go back downhill. It’s very sad seeing your parents getting older and especially when they are 6 hrs away. They have always been there for me as well as for the daycare parents as in a heartbeat, they would jump in the car to come to Kansas or wherever I lived to baby-sit not one grandchild but three as well as 6 extra children so that I could go to a doctors apt. or school open house or program. They are truly the greatest. I am so blessed. I think, they will be looking into moving here this spring to be closer as they are now getting up older and that will make it much easier to be near by. So if you hear of possible houses in this area going up for sale, please keep me updated and again thank you so much for being so wonderfully understanding as I go through this illness with my father.
Website:
I apologize again for my website being under construction still. They have been in the process of redoing that site and I have waited as it’s been a wonderful site for the last 4 years. Now though, the site is back up and it just has way too many kinks and bad spots in it and is very inaccessible so I am in search of a new host. I have a few ideas I will be checking out this week and hope to have some sort of website back up soon. I apologize for any inconvenience and I can’t wait to get a site back up and running so I can share all our fun pictures with all of you.
What’s Happening:
This month, we will be looking at a lot of Fall fun including pilgrims and Indians. Our group chapter book we are reading right now since we just finished our Where the Red Fern Grows is Treasure Island. So don’t be surprised when you hear pirate tales and jingles. We are also still enjoying a lot of other books each day, as well as songs and rhymes, story telling, imagination play, puzzles and manipulative, center time, handwriting and more. Just in case you did not know, I have the smartest and the best kids in the world! They are awesome!!!!!!! Thank you also for each of you being wonderful parents as well. I am blessed.
